Baillie Expands Internship Opportunities

Since the inception of Baillie’s internship programs at the sawmills & concentration yards as well as in the Hamburg, NY office, we have found that both the students and the company have received tremendous value from this program.  The interns have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom and use their knowledge and background to gain real world experience while the company benefits from fresh insights from the students.

InternshipsDue to this success, we are pleased to announce that we have expanded the internship opportunities to include IT (Information Technology) and Accounting programs.  By expanding our internship program, it is a great opportunity for students to experience the forest products industry hands on and to apply their talents and skills to real topics of interests to our company.

“Our objective is to make this a program that delivers real world, impactful experiences,” said Baillie Lumber’s Talent Acquisition Manager, Teddy Royal. “We are really excited to have a great group of students interning with us this summer.  Baillie has the pleasure of working with many colleges across the country and we are thrilled to continue offering their students opportunities to experience rewarding careers in the forest products industry.”
