Baillie Lumber Adds to Recruitment Efforts

Baillie Lumber is proud to announce the addition of Nora O’Malley to the recruitment team responsible for hiring new employees for our production facilities throughout the United States.

noraomalleyMiss O’Malley, a graduate of the State University at Buffalo, joins the Baillie family after having recently served in a similar capacity in the financial industry. Her initial focus with us will be helping our sawmill and hardwood lumber concentration yard leaders attract new employees and develop relationships with local institutions who have potential candidates interested in pursuing careers in the global forest products industry.

“We’re excited to bring Nora onto the team,” said Teddy Royal, lead recruiter for Baillie Lumber. “Our recent growth and expansions have resulted in a need for additional hiring in many of the Baillie manufacturing facilities. Nora’s specific focus on these locations will allow us to keep the staffing levels we need to be effective.”

Baillie Lumber hires for several different type positions in our sawmill and hardwood lumber concentration yard facilities. Some positions include lumber handlers, lumber graders, maintenance technicians and general office help. (Learn more here)

Working in a new industry that provides me the opportunity to travel and learn is going to be terrific”, said Miss O’Malley.

Baillie Lumber is one of North America's largest hardwood lumber manufacturers, distributors and exporters. We have grown from a regional supplier of domestic hardwoods to an international hardwood manufacturer that can ship hardwood lumber to any region of the world.
